Just like you, I am a unique individual, different from everyone else in the world. To paraphrase the great Harry Browne in How I Found Freedom in an Unfree World, I am unique in my knowledge, understanding, attitudes, likes, and dislikes. My knowledge is the result of my experiences - what I've done and seen and heard and read, where I've been, who I've known, and what I've learned from them. Because no one else has lived my life and experienced the same things I have, the purpose of this blog is to write on the one subject that I am uniquely qualified to write upon: why I believe the things I do.
So I will not be blogging about every piece of news that I find interesting. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but there are plenty of other austro-libertarian blogs that already accomplish that task, and I have neither the time nor the inclination to join their ranks. Instead, I intend this site to be seldom updated with substantial posts. I will cover a topic as thoroughly as I can, providing the best arguments, evidence, and source material to justify why I have the convictions, beliefs, and suspicions that I do.
Many of the topics I cover will be very controversial, and I hope to provide a public service by highlighting the very best evidence and reasons that support my views, while ignoring the straw men, misinformation, disinformation, and other nonsense that plague the internet and sidetrack many good-hearted truth seekers into wastes of time and energy.
While the audience of this blog might forever be limited to my friends, family, and unborn great-great-grandchildren, I hope that the information I provide can be of use to strangers who stumble upon this site as well.
